Bedale and the surrounding area is home to a thriving community and local companies, groups and classes.  Only 1 mile from the A1M, it is an ideal location. London is 3 hours away on the East Coast mainline or 236 miles; Edinburgh is 2 1/2 hours by train or 164 miles. Bedale Hall is an excellent conference venue and has rooms for smaller meetings. It also has offices for rent, as do other properties in town. Free wifi is available along the Market Place, so it is a great place to stop between appointments or use as a central point for meetings with colleagues. Car parking is only £1.80 per day or there is 2 hours free parking in the Market Place, for which you need to display a ‘disc’. Discs are available free of charge from local shops and the Tourist Information Centre. For a quick snack or a meal, there is a range of eating establishments.
